Stedelijk Muziekkorps Sneek

The Stedelijk Muziekkorps plays on the Schaapmarktplein in the heart of Sneek.

The Stedelijk Muziekkorps, from our own Sneek, is a concert band for young and old. The orchestra includes very experienced musicians, but also young people who have just graduated from the youth orchestra "On The Move. This makes the Stedelijk a lively orchestra, where the good atmosphere and fun is paramount, with the aim of reaching the highest attainable level.
The interplay of young and old, experienced and less experienced is the strength of this orchestra. The Stedelijk is at home in all markets: from classical, film to night of the proms concerts. It regularly participates in competitions (second division).
