Het Nationaal Modelspoor Museum

Model trains were initially intended only as toys. They were canned with a wind-up motor and only ran on electricity later. The museum has a large collection of those old trains. Over the years, the trains became more and more an exact copy of reality. They were so beautiful that they became a collector's item, leading to many collections. The museum owns a number of these collections, with different themes, in different scales and eras.
