'After Closing Time' session by MISTER & MRS

After a successful first edition, they will come again to a unique place namely: Tattoostudio Hakuna Matattoo in Sneek! On this unique spot MISTER & MRS will -after Closing Time- take the audience for an hour through the songs they released the last 2 years and also appeared on their first EP 'Changing Waters'. Meanwhile, the couple is working on their 2nd EP, and will also showcase new songs. An acoustic intimate set where the audience will also hear the stories behind the songs.

About MISTER & MRS

The pop/americana duo MISTER & MRS consists of Freerk and Tryntsje Hospes from Friesland. During their five-month (honeymoon) tour of Europe, during which they lived entirely off their music, their love for music grew into something big. Inspired by American duo Johnnyswim and Canadian trio Wild Rivers, they have been writing their own music since 2023. In late January 2024, they released their debut single Million Reasons, which was named "Debut in a Minute" on 3FM, voted MAXI single on NPO Radio 5 and included in several radio playlists. Since then they have been consistently releasing their own work, writing all their songs themselves- lyrics and melody-and fleshing them out with people in the industry. In February '25, they released their debut EP Changing Waters, further shaping their own sound. They played festivals and venues, including support shows for Metejoor, Trijntje Oosterhuis and BOAZ, and last year did band shows for the first time.

With the single "Don't Wanna Be Nervous" (Oct '25), they are building toward their second EP (Oct '26) with multiple releases and shows. On Friday, Jan. 23, the feel-good pop/country song 'Joyride' will be released.
