A Conversation with Author Philip Huff: About His Latest Novel, *A Good Nest*
- Wednesday 11 November
20:00 - 22:00
Author and director Philip Huff is coming to the Sneek Library for an interview about his latest novel, *Een goed nest*. It is a poignant family saga about parents and children, love, loss, and the things people don’t say to one another. Philip Huff has written successful novels such as *Niemand in de stad* and *Wat je van bloed weet*. His books often center on growing up, family secrets, and complex relationships. He studied philosophy and history and is currently working on his first feature film as a screenwriter and director. During the interview, Huff will discuss *Een goed nest*, his inspiration, and his writing process. With a keen sense of what people say—and what they leave unsaid—he shows how family members need, miss, and sometimes hurt one another. And how, despite everything, they try to love one another. After the interview, there will be time for questions. You can also purchase books and have them signed. This event is organized in collaboration with the Sneek Literary Activities Foundation, as part of the “Heel Nederland Leest” initiative. The admission price includes coffee or tea.
