An evening with defense specialist Peter Wijninga
You are cordially invited to listen to and interact with defense specialist Peter Wijninga on Thursday evening, Sept. 25. He can regularly be seen on TV. In various talk shows he talks about war and peace in the Ukraine, among others.

Peter Wijninga lived in Ysbrechtum from the age of 7 to 25. After the Royal Military Academy Breda, he ended up at the airbase in Leeuwarden, among other places. Studied further in Alabama, the United States.
From 2001 to 2004, Wijninga was head of Operational Evaluations at the Ministry of Defense. He was responsible for operations of Dutch deployments in Bosnia, Macedonia, Eritrea and Iraq.
He then held the various positions in the Air Force. In 2008, he was deputy commander at an air base in Afghanistan.
In 2012, he joined the HCSS (The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies). Source: Omrop Fryslân
