Film screening with sound art by Tristan Visser about his sailing trip from Greenland to Alaska in search of the Groeland whale's song.

Terschellinger Tristan Visser sailed the legendary Northwest Passage, from Greenland to Alaska. Few have had the courage to sail this route, due to the many ice conditions. Together with Jeroen van de Bovenkamp, Tristan Visser is making a film about that exciting journey, and his search in the process for the song of the bowhead whale.

During Whale Week, the Fries Scheepvaart Museum will screen this film on Saturday, November 29. Tristan himself accompanies the film live with his sound art. Tickets for this will be available soon.
