Atrium on Tour at the Bolwerk

In this edition, Atrium on Tour takes place in the Bolwerk. Come listen, watch and be surprised by the diversity and energy of the bands, everyone is welcome.

Dragon eyes
Dragon Eyes has been on the road for a few years now. The fun radiates from them when they are on stage. They enjoy playing pop/rock music by the likes of Shawn Mendes, DNCE, Kings of Leon and Kensington. The nice thing about this group is that Fraukje & Vic alternate vocals, this gives a nice dynamic. The band consists of: Hylke-Jan (drums), Thomas (guitar), Fraukje (vocals + piano) and Vic (vocals). Band coach Sytze takes care of the bass part.

Ex BTW
Ex BTW emerged almost twenty years ago from a pop workshop band at Kunstencentrum Atrium. The group plays mostly rock, soul and blues, with covers of Amy Winehouse, Barbara Carr, Blues Brothers and Billy Price on the set list, for example.

The ranks include a soulful singer, a plaintive blues harp and a four-piece horn section. Ex BTW has many performances in a wide variety of venues behind his name.

Late Date
Soul, Funk and Blues is the music that makes our hearts beat faster! Our horn section, with their melodious parts and funky rhythms, is typical of the band's sound. We play classics by Otis Redding, Joe Cocker, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse and Roxy music, but also sometimes make a trip to rock like U2 and Bruce Springsteen. As long as it swings.

We are Late Date! The band consists of Corrie Koopmans (drums), Douwe van der Weide (guitar and vocals), Gerard (bass), Elbert-Jaap Schipper (keys), Thea van Wijk (alto sax), Esther Hendriks (alto sax), Frans-Theo Niemeijer (tenor sax) and Rikst Bootsma (vocals).

Dissonance
The band Dissonance was formed in 2024. They enjoy playing rock oriented music interspersed with "rap.
Fast guitar riffs, a tight beat with a lot of energy. That's what they love! They have also already written some of their own songs, really cool.

Some songs from the repertoire are: You Really Got Me. (The Kinks), By The Way (Red hot Chili Peppers) ) and N.I.B. (Black Sabath). The band consists of the following band members: Wout Dijkstra (Drums, David Schaijens (Guitar) and Julian Hettinga (Vocals).
