Exhibition: Bringing to Light

The exhibition “Bringing to Light” is a retrospective of Maaike Prummel’s work. She grew up surrounded by art in Groningen, but did not graduate from the Vredeman de Vries Academy in Leeuwarden until she was an adult. Although she used to exhibit her work, circumstances later prevented her from doing so. She was forced to take a different path. And now, years later, she is holding an exhibition once again. You’ll see her graduation project; she takes you to Scotland, to the Ring of Brodgar, but also shows her interpretation of the Hoogend in Sneek. There’s also more recent work, which focuses more on people and emotions. A true retrospective exhibition.
