Heroes of Here in Sneek

A new edition of Helden van Hier is coming up again! With Helden van Hier we give Frisian acts the chance to perform in their own region, with a new location each time. On Saturday, September 20, we will be at the Popkelder in Sneek, and in addition to three different bands, music workshops are scheduled! The event is free to attend, and starts at 12:30.

With their colorful look, The Simones know how to make a big party of every place they play. With songs by The Offspring, and Tenacious D, among others, dancing and jumping is inevitable.

The Monets deliver dirty garage rock, with an edge of indie, and a thick tank of energy! Even though the band has only been playing together for a year, they know how to blow the audience away with their raw and infectious energy. Expect ripping guitars, catchy hooks, a bit of fuzz mixed with a dash of melancholy.

Locked Out is a rock cover band from the Sneek area and guarantees a successful party! Think of music by Foo Fighters, CCR, ACDC, Tom Petty, Golden Earring, Breeders, Kiss, Beatles, Black Crowes, Stones, Blur, Jack Black, Green Day and Bryan Adams.
