Historic Canal Cruise Sneek

Round trip on the city canals in and around Sneek with an open boat (praam). Due to the low clearance, Grachtenrondvaart Sneek can show you the nicest and most intimate places of Sneek. The skipper tells you about the rich history of the town. Among other things, you will pass the icon of Sneek: the Waterpoort. The cruise takes just under an hour.

Location
Pick-up location is at the jetty diagonally opposite the Fries Scheepvaartmuseum / VVV Sneek, Kleinzand 16 in Sneek.

You can park at the Veemarktterrein, Korte Veemarktstraat 12 in Sneek. Here you can park for free on part of the grounds. Or in the parking garage at Normandiaplein number 7. Here you can park for free for the first 24 hours. For both parking locations applies: it is then about a 10-minute walk to the pick-up location.

Important to know
Please be present at the dock 10 minutes before departure. Keep in mind that you will be on the open pram for about an hour. If the weather is chilly, bring a sweater or jacket. Fleece blankets are on board. Possibly also umbrellas if they are needed. In sunny weather: remember a cap and sunscreen.

The dock has a low boarding platform. The crew will be happy to help you board. The canal cruise goes under low bridges. Bending down is therefore necessary in some places. The skipper will indicate this in advance.
