Horse-and-Carriage Tours

Cultural sightseeing tour through Sneek by horse-drawn carriage. When it’s cold, we have heated blankets available. Depending on the horses available, we’ll use either 1 or 2 Friesian horses. For bookings for 2 people, the tour lasts 30 minutes. For bookings for 4 people, the tour lasts 60 minutes. If your group has more than 4 people, please contact us by phone at 06-23098423. In that case, the minimum number of participants is 6, and you’ll take a 60-minute tour using two carriages.

You’ll ride past historic buildings and sites, with commentary provided along the way. A break can be scheduled so you can buy an ice cream during the 60-minute ride.

If you’d like to add tea, coffee, and cookies, that’s available for €7.50 per person. If you’d like to add regional sausage and cheese, including Sneeker Beerenburg (and you get to keep the glass), that’s available for €17.50 per person. If you’d like to add a regional sausage and cheese platter, including Frysk Hynder Whiskey (and you get to keep the glass), that’s available for €25 per person.

Starting in mid-September, we offer evening rides with illuminated carriages and horses upon request.

Location
The tour departs from the glass recycling bins on Boschplein in Sneek. There is ample parking available here.

Important to Know
We may be late due to heavy traffic. Please wait patiently until we arrive. The tour will take place if at least 2 people join. A maximum of 4 people can join. In case of rain, very strong winds, or other adverse weather conditions, the tour may be canceled. In that case, you’ll receive a refund for the ticket.
