Incubator including Fay Lovsky (music performance)

Broedplaats is a performance in which Tsead Bruinja, former Poet Laureate of the Netherlands, recites poems together with beautiful songs by the duo Ella & her husband with whom Bruinja also wrote new songs.

They do this with as décor and inspiration the life-size landscape paintings of Annemarieke Woltman (1959-1997), sister of guitarist Herman Woltman. Expect a program with songs and poems in Dutch, French and Frisian about love, painting and the landscape, with a special role for the glowing tango music of the Argentine composer Piazolla.

Sneek gets to see a special edition of this performance. On April 4, we expand Broedplaats with drums, singing saw and fretless bass by Willem Smid, Fay Lovsky and Bart Soeters.

This will be the last time we perform on the mainland with Annemarieke Woltman's beautiful landscape paintings. In June they can still be seen on Terschelling at the Folkshegeskoalle during the week that Oerol takes place.
