Karin Bloemen - Renaissance 2.0

After the extensive celebration of her 40th anniversary at the theater in 2023, Karin took a special trip to southern Chile in early 2024, a very sparsely populated area with lots of natural beauty. It became an overwhelming experience, in which it seemed like she had been taken back in time by a time machine some 50 years; not stressed people everywhere living on their cell phones, but people having time and having real conversations with each other.

That intense sense of a more natural pace of life that we have long since lost here acted as a huge mirror and led her to the simple conclusion: we need a new renaissance! Just as the Renaissance after the dark Middle Ages took its inspiration from the time of the Greeks and Romans, we now need inspiration again from the past to wrestle our way out of the dark time we are in now. And let fifty years ago be the 70s; freedom, creativity and the most fantastic music!

Together with her fantastic four-piece band, she will provide an inspiring performance that will leave the audience armed against the challenges of these times and with a big smile on their faces back in the 21st century.
