King’s Day in Sneek is always a festive occasion, when the “Orange craze” fills the city of Sneek with energy and a lively atmosphere! There’s something for everyone to do to celebrate our king’s birthday. 

The day kicks off with a traditional aubade at the town hall in Sneek, followed by performances by local bands, artists, and brass bands at various locations throughout the city, so you can dance all day long or sit back and enjoy all the cheerful music from one of the many outdoor patios. There’s also a lively Orange Fair and a flea market. So put on your orange outfit, flash your best smile, and join in the King’s Day celebrations in Sneek, where the festivities will continue well into the evening! Long live the king!

On King’s Night, April 26, starting at 8:00 p.m.: Live music or DJs in tons of bars.
