Are you curious about 3D printing? During this introductory workshop, you’ll discover how an idea can be turned into a real object. You’ll get an accessible introduction to the world of 3D design and 3D printing. You’ll learn the basics of design, see how a 3D printer works, and discover all the possibilities. A fun and creative first step into the world of technology and design!

What can you expect?
During this workshop, you’ll get a first impression of the entire process: from creating a simple digital design to preparing a 3D print. You’ll learn how a design is sent to a 3D printer and see how the printer works.

Since a 3D print often takes longer than the workshop itself, you may need to pick up your printed design at a later time.

Who is it for?
The workshop is intended for children ages 9 through 14 who are curious about technology and design and want to make something themselves.
