Maakplaats: Naan Bread Workshop
- Saturday 5 September
11:00 - 13:00
Do you love good food and enjoy creating something new together? During this workshop, you’ll bake your own naan bread in a small group. Kneading, baking, and tasting together are the focus.
What can you expect?
You’ll learn step by step how to make naan bread and add your own twist with various herbs and spices. The recipe we’ll follow comes from the book *Levenslust* by Mirjam van de Vegt, Sharon Numan, and Esther Jongste. Co-author Esther Jongste will be present at the workshop. While kneading and baking, there will be plenty of opportunity to meet others and chat. In a playful way, we’ll explore various themes from “Levenslust,” such as connection, gratitude, play, individuality, and simply getting started. After the workshop, there will be an opportunity to purchase the book “Levenslust.”
Who is it for?
The workshop is suitable for (young) adults aged 18 and older who enjoy learning new things and love food. No prior experience is required to participate in the workshop.
Registration
Weather permitting, the workshop will be held in the courtyard of the Sneek Library. All materials are provided, and participation is free. Please register in advance at bmf.op-shop.nl.
