Twice a year (in the spring and fall), Motorboot Sneek brings together the most diverse selection of new and pre-owned motor yachts in the Netherlands for a weekend-long event in the nation’s water sports capital: Sneek. Around the waters of this Frisian Eleven Cities town, renowned Dutch shipyards, dealers, and brokers showcase an unprecedented number of high-quality motor yachts. All within driving or walking distance of one another, in a nautical atmosphere, and with snacks and drinks within easy reach. You’re most welcome! 

“While many water sports shows around us are shrinking or closing down, we’re still seeing solid growth at Motorboot Sneek,” according to the organizers of the three-day event. “What we often hear from our participants is the genuine interest shown by visitors. They are very focused on finding a new yacht and everything that comes with it. This very often results in the immediate purchase of boats.”

One of Motorboot Sneek’s keys to success is its open nature. “Visitors pay no admission fee, never have to stand in long lines, and can park easily and for free. Our event is spread over three days and takes place at multiple guest shipyards in Sneek. This allows us to spread out the crowds very effectively. It creates space for participating companies to properly inform interested visitors about their yachts. Of course, the fact that Sneek is known as the Netherlands’ premier water sports city also works in our favor!”
