Movie house: En fanfare - Emmanuel Courcol

Adopted into different environments, they have little in common as adults. They only meet when Thibaut turns out to have leukemia and goes in search of a bone marrow donor.
Director Emmanuel Courcol manages to create a fine feel-good film without lapsing into sentimentality. Through the two brothers he tells between the lines about the role of (unequal) social circumstances, and how music can nevertheless connect people. A film that sensitively shows the power of friendship and family ties and will leave no one unmoved during the finale. What a fun film!
