Movie House: The Voice of Hind Rajab Kaouther Ben Hania

Jan. 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive a distress call. A six-year-old girl, Hind Rajab, is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza and is begging for help. As aid workers try to keep her on the phone, they make every effort to get an ambulance to her. But without permission from the Israeli army, no vehicle can be allowed in. They wait hours for answers, but in the end all help comes too late. Hind's voice remains as testimony. The scenes in the emergency services control room are reconstructed and staged, based on eyewitness accounts and transcripts; the voices on the audio tapes are real.
