Six photographers who enjoy their own artistic freedom but are also open to influences from others, thereby broadening their perspectives to continually develop their own work.

At their six weekly meetings, they discuss each other’s work and share inspiration. The stories behind the photos and the techniques used are then examined in detail, with a healthy dose of humor.
For Tsjerkepaad, the Frisian word “fernuverje” (to marvel) emerged. Fernuverje runs like a common thread through the Fries Foto Collectief; the photos and images continue to amaze.
In the church of Ysbrechtum, you’ll see the photographic works of six photographers, each with their own distinctive visual style.
