Selfstedentocht Bike Tour Through Sneek

Every year on Pentecost Monday, the Frisian Eleven Cities Bike Tour is held. The tour starts and finishes in Bolsward. Approximately 15,000 participants bike the Eleven Cities Tour in a single day—a route spanning no less than approximately 235 kilometers.

Around noon, the participants pass through Sneek. In Sneek, the cyclists take the Bolswarderweg, cross the Prins Hendrikkade, and continue through the city center toward IJlst. On Marktstraat, spectators can cheer on the participants, and there is live music on the outdoor patios there.
