Sneek 500 years Merchant City: anniversary concert Bogerman Big Band 40 years

The Bogerman BigBand is a swinging group of musical students who are 40 years old this year. A jubilee concert during the activities of Sneek 500 years Merchant City could not be missed.

Under the direction of Sjoerd Hiemstra, the Bogerman BigBand will give their jubilee concert on Saturday evening, September 13, on the Markstraat in Sneek. Everyone is welcome to come and watch and listen.

Besides the many local concerts, the BigBand occasionally tours abroad. The group has already been to Denmark, Belgium, Germany, England, France, Norway and Luxembourg and in July to Liverpool. Sjoerd Hiemstra is music teacher at the comprehensive school and musical leader of the BigBand. Bob Pruiksma is a math teacher and bass player in the BigBand.
