During Open Monument Day, the museum will be open for free on Saturday, Sept. 13, and there will be a Lego challenge for children all weekend.

This weekend, of course, you can discover all kinds of things about Frisian Shipping. Tour guides will be on hand to tell all the wonderful stories behind the ships, skates and paintings.

Children can have a great time this weekend with bins full of Lego in the Fries Scheepvaart Museum. Because in our children's museum there is a Lego room where our visitors can build to their heart's content with Lego bricks. Will you help to recreate Sneek in the year 1525?
