Sneek 500 years Merchant City: Legochallege at the Fries Scheepvaart Museum

During Open Monumentendag and as part of 'Sneek 500 years Sales Town', the museum will be accessible free of charge on Saturday, September 13, and there will be a Lego challenge for children all weekend.

This weekend you can of course discover all sorts of things about Frisian shipping. Tour guides will be on hand to tell all the wonderful stories behind the ships, skates and paintings.

Children can have a blast this weekend with bins full of Lego in the Fries Scheepvaart Museum. The children's museum has a Lego room where our visitors can build together to their heart's content with Lego bricks. Will you help to recreate the city of Sneek in the year 1525?
