Sneek Water Gate Opened During National Heritage Day

Saturday, September 12, 2026, marks both Open Monument Day and the UITfestival in Sneek. The Waterpoort will also be open to the public. Have you always wanted to take a look inside? Then this is your chance. Between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., you’re welcome to visit the iconic gate on the edge of downtown.
