Sneek Water Gate Opened During Open Monument Day

Saturday, September 12, 2026, is Open Monument Day, and the UITfestival is also taking place in Sneek. The Waterpoort will be open to the public as well. Have you always wanted to see inside? Then this is your chance. Between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., you’re welcome to visit the iconic gate on the edge of downtown.
