Sneek Week Closing Concert at the Waterpoort

On Friday, August 7, Sneek will bring Sneekweek to a musical close with the Closing Concert in the Kolk near the Waterpoort. The DEBASIC pop and jazz orchestra and various guest artists will provide live music on the water from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The concert is free to watch from the shore.

On Friday, August 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Sneekweek Closing Concert will take place at the Kolk near the Waterpoort. The DEBASIC pop and jazz orchestra, conducted by Theo Brouwer, will perform with Janneke Brakels, Anne Visser, Nynke Pauluis, Jelle B, and Johannes Rypma.

This year marks the tenth edition of the Closing Concert. Visitors can enjoy the music for free from the pier. You can also come in your own boat. A fee of €20 per boat will be collected on site.

Those who want to moor right in front of the stage can reserve a VIP spot for €100 per boat via Grachtenconcert@gmail.com. Umbrellas and extended bimini tops are not permitted so that everyone has a clear view.
