Sneek Week Sailing

Sneekweek is Europe’s largest inland sailing event. Sailing boats from all recognized classes line up at the start of Sneekweek, the perfect combination of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Or, as they say at the Royal Sneek Water Sports Association: “By day for the glory, by night for the atmosphere.” During the day, there is intense sailing on the Sneekermeer, and supporters enjoy themselves on Starteiland, which is open to everyone. The fun continues in the evening on the island and throughout the city.
