Sneeker Dweildag

Saturday, Oct. 3, the town of Sneek will again be flooded with musicians from all over the country this year during the 14th edition of the Sneeker Dweildag. The bands can be found in:

• Marktstraat
• Wijde Burgstraat
• Scharnestraat - Weduwe Joustra Steeg (fall blowing contest - free playing location)
• Schaapmarktplein
• 1e Oosterkade - Café 't Ouwe Vat (free playing location)

In a short time, the Sneeker Dweildag has grown to become one of the most important dweildays in our country. The dweilkapellen come from all over the country and manifest themselves in 2 classes, the Leutklasse and the Wedstrijdklasse.

In the morning, all musicians gather on the Marktstraat where they can catch up, while enjoying a cup of coffee and a cake. Around noon the Sneeker Dweildag will be opened. Then the bands play at the 5 locations in town.

In the afternoon at a quarter to 5 the final program starts on the Marktstraat.
