Snekers on 'e buck

Sneek - On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Martinikerk in Sneek will be the setting for a special musical spectacle: 5 well-known Snekers op 'e bok! The Stedelijk Muziekkorps Sneek (SMS) invites everyone to an evening full of surprises, musical challenge and local pride.
Inspired by the popular television concept in which famous Dutch people step out of their comfort zone, this time five prominent Snekers get the chance to conduct the orchestra. With no conducting experience, but with guts and enthusiasm, they will take a seat on 'e baton and try to lead the SMS in the right direction.

The five 'conductors' of the evening are already known: Wieger Wind, Nynke Oud, Matthie Silvius, Michiel Rietman and Michael de Roos.
They each have their own background and story, but share the challenge of showing their musical (and leadership) side. Who knows how to keep the orchestra in line? Who gets carried away by the music? And who will be the audience favorite of the evening?
It promises to be an evening full of humor, excitement, surprise and of course beautiful music, performed by the Sneek Municipal Music Corps.
