Start your year with Dungeons & Dragons at the museum

Do you have the resolution to play (more) Dungeons & Dragons? Then this event, on Saturday, January 17, is for you!

Among the rich collection of the museum, you are most welcome this day. You can choose the theater workshop, D&D, or both parts. For participants following the full program, we will provide a snack of soup and sandwiches. The minimum age for participation is 14.

Program.

3:30 p.m. Theater workshop with Theo Smedes (theater producer)*.
18.00 hours Hot meal: soup and sandwiches
7 p.m. D&D session inspired by the museum (until 11 p.m. at the latest)

Ticket for the theater workshop (5.00 - afternoon)
Ticket for D&D (5.00 - evening)
Combiticket (14.50) for both parts, including soup and sandwiches

The D&D stories we play are specially inspired by the rich collection of the Fries Scheepvaart Museum. Expect an adventurous evening where history and fantasy come together. Be there and experience a creative start to the year!

*) About Theo Smedes and the theater workshop
Theo Smedes (1980) has been active as a freelance actor and director since 2006. He has played and directed various productions, including performances at the Iepenloftspul Burgum and theater association Halbertsma. During this theater workshop you will learn how to get even more into your D&D character, or discover how to bring a character to life. The versatile and experienced theater maker will give you tips and tricks to bring your characters even more to life at the table!
