Stimulus-Friendly Fries Shipping Museum
During National Autism Week, the Fries Scheepvaart Museum opens with an extra focus on calm and overview. You visit the museum at times with less stimuli so you can look around at your own pace.

From Monday, March 30 through Thursday, April 2, the museum will be open to adults every morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. stimulus-free. There will be fewer visitors, muted sound and quieter lighting. You can use a rest room if you want to take a break. Staff is present, but reserved.
On Thursday, April 2, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., there is an incentive-friendly time for children. Together with a (grand)parent you can do a scavenger hunt in the museum. You choose which scavenger hunt you want to do on the spot.
In preparation you can use a simple map and a cartoon via the museum website.
You can buy tickets in advance online or at the box office on the day itself.
