The Hermes Church will be open again this year during Tsjerkepaad. This time, there will be an exhibition on baptisms and baptismal attire. The exhibition will also highlight the family stories behind the baptismal attire.

You can also design your own baptismal gown. To do so, the church provides a drawing of a baby doll, fabric, ribbon, lace, beads, and more, as well as scissors and glue. We have a small prize for whoever designs the prettiest gown.
