The Hermes Church will be open again this year during Tsjerkepaad. This time, it will feature an exhibition on baptisms and baptismal garments. The exhibition will also highlight the family stories behind the baptismal garments.

You can also design your own christening gown. The church has a drawing of a baby doll, fabric, ribbon, lace, beads, and more available for this purpose, as well as scissors and glue. We have a small prize for whoever designs the prettiest gown.
