UITfestival SWF | Sneek

The UITfestival SWF takes place across various villages and towns in the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân, including Sneek, Bolsward, Workum, Hindeloopen, IJlst, Witmarsum, Blauwhuis, Goënga, Oudega, and Woudsend. Here you can enjoy a diverse lineup of local and regional artists, choirs, bands, street theater, plays, art exhibitions, and activities for children.

Music, culture, history, and plenty of fun: during the UITFestival, there’s something for everyone at various locations throughout Sneek!

At various spots throughout the city, including several Heritage Day locations, doors will open and music will fill the air. From atmospheric choir performances and a short outdoor performance by Muzt to fun activities for the youngest visitors. There’s something for everyone to discover, see, and experience.

🎺 Anniversary Concert & Marching Band Parade
Advendo is also celebrating its anniversary during the UITFestival. Between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., various bands will march through the city center in a festive parade. The parade ends on Marktstraat, where the bands will wrap up the event with a joint performance. A musical spectacle you won’t want to miss!

Elfstedentocht Bouncy Castle for Kids
Even the youngest visitors can join in the fun. In the city center, the Elfstedentocht Bouncy Castle is ready for children up to age 12. Bounce from city to city and experience your own fun-filled Elfstedentocht!
