Celebrate Christmas in Sneek this weekend with many XMAS activities. The 2nd weekend of December is full Christmas in Sneek with a Christmas Choir Festival, an illuminated Christmas Parade and a cozy Christmas Market & Food with lots of entertainment such as a XMAS street theater and live music.

On Saturday, Dec. 13, there will be a Christmas Choir Festival from 2-5 p.m. and after it, Santa Claus will be festively welcomed with a festive Christmas Parade from 4 p.m. onwards. The large Christmas trees will be festively lit at the Schaapmarkt Square on Saturday around 5 p.m.

On shopping Sunday, December 14, from noon to 6 p.m., a cozy Christmas market will be held on the Markstraat. Leeuwenburg, Schaapmarktplein, Nauwe Burgstraat and Wijde Burgstraat. The stores in Sneek have transformed their shop windows into beautiful Christmas windows. From cozy stalls, local catering establishments present their winter delicacies. Along with various street theater acts and live music in the town center, Sneek will also be 'the place to be' for all your Christmas shopping on Sunday, December 14!

Throughout December there are many Christmas activities in the museums and Christmas/family performances in the Theater Sneek.
