Youth Band Festival in Sneek

A musical Saturday full of celebration, culture, and history in Sneek! 

On Saturday, September 12, Sneek’s downtown will be buzzing with activity as the Uit Festival, Open Monument Day, and the Youth Festival come together to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Jong Advendo.

Starting at 2:00 p.m., the festive Street Parade, featuring various youth bands, will wind its way through the city center. The route runs from Almastraat through Grootzand, Suupmarkt, Kleinzand, and Oosterdijk, among other places, toward Marktstraat.

Along the way, there will be musical performances and special moments at the Atrium and the Maritime Museum, which are part of the route as part of Open Monument Day.

The Street Parade ends around 3:45 p.m. on Marktstraat, where music and a festive atmosphere come together.
