4 & 10 Mile of Sneek

In 2024 it will be the eighth edition of the 4 Mile of Sneek. This is a running event of 6.4 kilometers through the beautiful center of Sneek.

This year it is not just about the 4 Mile, but an additional challenge has been added: the 10 mile distance. It promises to be another sporty and fun day for individual runners, associations, schools and companies.

Participants will run on a unique course where they cross the Waterpoort twice. For children, a Kidsrun will be organized. Since last year, children as young as five years old can run along! The youngest children run (840 meters) from the Marktstraat over the Grootzand and back again. All children who have already registered will receive a running shirt. All pre-registrants will receive (while supplies last) a stylish running shirt!

As in previous years, in addition to the individual 4-mile run, there will also be the business run, association run and school run. All components start simultaneously at 2:00 pm on Market Street. If you live along the course you can encourage participants through decorations, music or offer participants an extra cup of water.

Registration starts on Friday, February 9 at 12:00 pm.

(Instead of the previously communicated date of June 2, the run is finally set for May 26).
