Exposition "In House"
- weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until June 14, 2025
In this group exhibition, several artists explore the multifaceted theme of interior design. The selected artists bring to life the most beautiful compositions through painting, drawing and printing - each in their own unique way and in a variety of styles.
About the Exhibition "In House"
Interiors are often more than just the space we live in - they are a reflection of our personality, culture and the way we experience our surroundings. But the theme "In House" extends beyond rooms and furniture: it also includes the everyday life that takes place in and around the home. From cafes on the corner to visiting friends, from still life on the table to people we encounter every day - these recognizable moments are the inspiration for many of the works on display.
In addition, the theme "In House" also refers to the artists themselves: they are all artists who have been "in house" at Galerie Bax Kunst for some time. Their work is part of the permanent collection, and this exhibition is a special opportunity to show their latest work and share their views on everyday life.
Participating artists include:
Douwe Elias, Frank Hulscher, Noëlle Poiesz, Hinke Veenstra, Melda Wibawa, Annemarie IJssels, Oesje Zegel and many more. Each adds their own interpretation to the central theme, leading to a rich and varied whole.
Glass art from Eastern Europe
The exhibition is also complemented by artisanal glass art from Eastern Europe, which adds an extra dimension to the exhibition. These handmade glass objects bring a special blend of tradition and innovation, which are a perfect match.
