Cycling city tour through Sneek

On Whit Monday, the annual Frisian Elfsteden Cycle Tour is held. The tour starts and finishes in Bolsward. About 15,000 participants cycle the Elfstedentocht in one day, a bicycle tour of no less than about 235 kilometers. Around noon the participants pass through Sneek. In Sneek, those cyclists will continue via the Bolswarderweg, over the Prins Hendrik Kade, through the inner city to IJlst. On the Marktstraat the participants can be encouraged and there will be live music.
