Raymond Guzman and his fellow dance makers are driven for the show to 'just' put down beautiful dance, with numerous sources of inspiration behind it. There are musical choreographies based on the repertoire of Bob Fosse and A Chorus Line, but there is also inspiration from music by composer Max Richter, for example.
