Koningsdag in Sneek is always a festive day, where the orange madness also makes the city of Sneek buzz with energy and fun! There is something for everyone to celebrate the birthday of our king.

Orange market & children's free market
On the Grootzand you can enjoy colorful stalls, where stallholders offer their products and delicious treats. Taste the taste of Friesland with fresh syrup waffles, cheese and much more! Children up to 12 years can visit the Children's Free Market at Singel, Gedempt Pol & Hoogend, among others.

Children's square
At the children's square, this year on the square of the Dorcas on the Singel, children can participate in old Dutch games, such as koekhappen and throwing cans. Join in and show that you are the king of King's Day!

Music
Local bands, artists and bands will perform throughout the city, so you can dance the day away or sit on one of the many terraces and enjoy the cheerful sounds.

So put on your orange outfit, put on your best smile and celebrate Koningsdag in Sneek, where the revelry will continue into the evening! Long live the king!

On King's Night, April 26 from 20:00: Live music on the terraces in the Marktstraat and in many pubs & cafes artists & performances.
