Pier21 - What about me?

A moving play about informal care that sometimes feels like a theater concert. Compositions by Hiske Oosterwijk, direction by Jos Thie and text by Bouke Oldenhof (Feteranen, Avond, Bijke).

Floor is always there for others. As a child she always had to give in at home, because her brother Roel demanded all their parents' attention. Now that her parents have passed away, the primary responsibility for him lies with her.
Even in her work as a trauma nurse and in her relationship with Herman, she naturally takes on the care role. But when Herman does something for her in return out of gratitude, she feels uncomfortable as soon as she herself is put in the spotlight. Has her caring for others come at the expense of herself?
