Sneekweek Rubber Boat Race

On Monday in the Sneekweek it's time again for the Sneekweek Rubber Boat Race. While paddling in a rubber boat the participants compete for fun Sneekweek prizes and of course for the honor.

On Monday, August 4 at 3 p.m., the spectacular Sneekweek Rubber Boat Race bursts into life again! From the Waterpoort to the Wilhelmina Bridge (Koninginnebrug), participants will compete while paddling in their dinghies for great Sneekweek prizes and eternal glory. The race starts at the Waterpoort, where the tension is immediately high. Who will brave the route the fastest and overcome the hilarious obstacles along the way? Prepare

A generator will be available at the start to help pump up the boats. We ask participants to come to the start with inflated boats as much as possible. Everyone from 12 years old with swimming certificate A and B can participate.

The Sneekweek Rubber Boat Race always attracts a large crowd. So be on time to secure a good spot along the route and not miss a moment of the action. The site is easily accessible for the disabled and the emergency routes remain clear for emergency services at all times.
