Tim Hartog - Friction Friction

He has proven over the past year that he not only has a sharp mind, but also an incredible drive to make Holland laugh. Now it is time for the next step: conquering the rest of the Netherlands with the continuation of his successful tour "Friction. With his disarming charm and a high dose of jokes, he knows how to capture every audience.

At first glance, Tim is a likeable man with sound standards and values. But this professional cheat is a walking barrel of contradictions. And those very contradictions make Tim an observant comedian who plays with assumptions and prejudices. Everyone wants to live as nice and comfortable a life as possible. You just don't achieve this by consuming as much as possible. As human beings, we have to deal with feelings that cannot be numbed. So we do have to confront ourselves and the world around us. Fortunately, because without friction you don't get shine.

Tim Hartog graduated from the King's Theater Academy in 2010 and was in the finals of the Leids Cabaret Festival. In recent years he has managed to build up quite an audience through his social media channels, his performances at Comedy Club Haug, hosting the very first Rijnmond Oudejaarsconference (2023) and gaining a final place in 'De Slimste Mens'(2024). He is also a welcome guest on the Dutch comedy circuit and a much sought-after presenter. On television he could be seen at 'The Comedy Factory' and 'The Great Improvisation Show'. He has performed at major festivals such as Paaspop and Lowlands.
