Waterpoort Regatta Rowing Association De Geeuw

On Saturday, July 5, 2025 RV De Geeuw is organizing the Waterpoortregatta for the 2nd time. A race over 750m for different numbers.
For everyone the opportunity to race in the double 8 (board-to-board) and/or participate with 14 rowers in the Finnish church boat. In addition, there will be a tour race and at the conclusion a party!

For those interested there is the possibility to watch from the dike/cycle path between Sneek and IJlst. Also, rowing club De Geeuw has rented a sloop for 30 people which is estimated to sail 6-7 times from the rowing club to the start and back so occupants (participants and interested parties) can see the races. Sailing along is free of charge; a small contribution afterwards is appreciated.
