The B&B is situated along the city canal, part of the Eleven Cities Route, and offers a view of the famous Waterpoort. The historic and charming city center is just a short walk away. The building was once inhabited by Pieter Sjoerds Gerbrandy, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands. A statue of him stands on Schaapmarktplein in the center of Sneek.
