Meetings at the Thaborhoeve Wine Farm

Charmingly situated wine farm with meeting space just outside Sneek. In the Glass Room, you'll experience the peace and tranquility of the Frisian countryside. An ideal location for a team meeting, presentation, drinks reception, training session, photo shoot, or reception in Friesland. Private parking is available.

Historic Thaborhoeve

The farm is located on the site where the Thabor Monastery once stood from 1406 to 1572. Remarkably, the monks who lived and worked here contributed to the construction of the Slachtedijk, the 45km-long dike that protected this part of Friesland from the Middelsee.

The Glass Room

At the Thaborhoeve, the Glass Room can be rented for small gatherings for 15-55 people. Just 20 minutes from Leeuwarden, you can hold meetings and drinks here with a beautiful view of the Frisian countryside. And in good weather, enjoy a delicious lunch on the terrace or in the vineyard.

The Vineyard

The 1.5-hectare vineyard is truly unique in Friesland. In a good year, we can make wine from the three grape varieties that thrive in our northern climate and clay soil. This soil is the original bed of the Middelsee, an inlet that extended deep into Friesland from the Wadden Sea.
