Fries Scheepvaart Museum

The history of Frisian shipping is central to the Fries Scheepvaart Museum. But the history of the city of Sneek and the surrounding area is also extensively discussed in the museum. It is therefore not only about skûtsjesilen, the Sneekweek and the Frisian naval power, but also about the Elfstedentocht or the Sneker Waterpoort. And there is also a beautiful collection of silver on display. There is a cozy museum café and for the children there is an exciting children's museum.
