The Casualties are the voice of the disenfranchised, the disillusioned and the dispossessed of this planet. These street fighters are still angry and still keeping the heart and spirit of punk alive.

This has always been the goal of The Casualties since vocalist Jorge Herrera along with second vocalist Colin formed the band in 1990. Hailing from New York City, they were inspired by early street punks such as The Exploited, Sex Pistols and Charged GBH. The Casualties managed to revive this style with both their hard-hitting music and visuals, taking it to a new level. Now their new album "Chaos Sound" has been released.

Punk is dead? The Casualties have never cared about that nonsense. Once again, the New York veterans give voice to the streets with three fists full of crushing songs. In an era of austerity, corporate takeovers of this planet and increasing anger, "Chaos Sound" fizzes with counterculture rage translated into energetic riffs, barking vocals and a heavy dose of rock. The Casualties are the real deal. Punk is not dead. With 'Chaos Sound,' they provide crushing proof of that statement.
